Stirling SOPA meeting

(L to R) Helena Scott, Executive Director 'Action in Mind' (formerly Head of Policy, Age Concern), SOPA coordinator Glenda Watt, Lady Provost Tina Murphy and SOPA Chair Tom Berney.

Clackmannanshire Council Lord Provost Tina Murphy told the Stirling SOPA meeting that "We don't lose experience once we get to 65. Maybe our bodies slow down but our experience is immense and we bring a wealth of this to the community and to our country. We want to set the agenda, not have the agenda set for us."
