SOPA champions Living Well in Later Life

A major conference at Heriot Watt University Conference Centre, organised by Healthcare Improvement Scotand, explored the theme of 'Living Well in Later Life'. SOPA was invited to run one of the morning workshops and a concluding afternoon session involving a panel of four Committee members.  A dialogue about what living well meant received an enthusiastic response, followed by questions from the floor.

To begin and conclude the session, poet Anne Connolly from Luminate read two of her poems celebrating later life. (Click here to read her poems).
