Forget Me Not Garden Launch

At Scottish Older People's Assembly we were delighted to be invited to the Official Opening of the Forget Me Not garden at the entrance lodge to the Lauriston Estate by the Rt Hon the Lord Provost, Councillor Robert Aldridge this morning. Our new Lead Officer Hetty Malcom-Smith and myself, Karen, Interim Lead Officer attended the event - the sun even shone!

The garden has been developed as a memory and activity space for those experiencing memory loss, and their carers and families. Further details can be found on the website at the link below.

The garden has been made possible thanks to the generous support of a number of trusts and charities, together with donations by private individuals. It is a very special place and we at SOPA can highly recommend a wee visit.
